This is a log of my travels. While studying abroad in Madrid, Spain I wrote a series of emails chronicling my tips and adventures, and discovered a means of creative release and documentation. Writing made each journey into a story, a tale to be retold, a memory preserved. My readers enjoyed the vicarious experience, and I relished relaying each poignant moment in a foreign land.
Since returning home in 2007 after my stint abroad, my mind continued to wander in distant lands. Different countries and continents called out to my soul, but since graduating college I have worked, lived and learned close to home (the San Francisco Bay Area). I’ve been biding my time.
The stories that follow are the second installment of a dream realized. I welcome my family and friends to join me as I explore the world and myself, by foot and by blog!
